Deadeye Dick (2025)
Music and Lyrics by: Braden Allison
Deadeye Dick is based on Kurt Vonnegut's 1982 novel of the same name. It is a through-composed, electric jazz cabaret about Rudy Waltz, an aspiring playwright who gains his titular nickname at a young age when he accidentally kills a pregnant woman in his town. This dark and dry comedy follows Rudy as he goes through life trying to pay his penance for a life-altering mistake.

Kaleidoscope (2021)
Music and Words by: Braden Allison
Kaleidoscope is a cycle of 24 songs - each representing an hour of the day - that explores human's tendency to associate nature with emotion. As pretentious as it sounds, the pieces maintain a quirky charm and joyful creativity to them.
The work has yet to be performed in entirety, with its first staged workshop being recorded at SouthGate Church in 2021. Link below.
